An impressive range of fitness features

There are 70 different sports modes onboard that can be tracked from your basic running, walking and cycling all the way through to hiking, swimming, basic weight training, and martial arts just to name a few. It also features a built-in heart rate sensor, GPS, altimeter and more functions, which should get you some pretty detailed feedback on any of your workouts.
Another great feature is the exercise maps. The Suunto 7 allows you to track a run while you’re on it, and see precisely where you are all the time. There are also heat maps to see which routes are popular or quiet, so you can follow popular trails, or go off the beaten path if you prefer.

Contemporary and sleek design

The Suunto 7 is probably larger than the average smartwatch – the exact screen size diametre is around 50mm across, making it a bit too big for women. Super lightweight, the strap is also super comfortable compared to leather or other materials.
Those showcase plenty of different holes for the buckle, so it could fit people with big as well as small wrists.
The Suunto 7 is available in five different color options including white and gold, black and bronze, and a few other versions. The different versions all look quite sleek, so you’re not getting an ugly watch here.

A great smartwatch for sport lovers

Sport addicts, you can’t really go wrong with the Suunto 7. It is probably one of the best sport/smartwatches on the market, thanks to its fantastic range of health and sport features. The proposed battery life is also very promising, a massive advantage compared to the Suunto 7 competitors.
Suunto has turned to Google’s Wear OS to provide those additional smarts, which include NFC payments, a built-in music player and the ability to download apps from Google’s Play Store.

Selling for £429.00 the smartwatch could be considered quite expensive compared to its main competitors. However, if you are really into sport, fitness, swimming etc… the Suunto 7 could become your best companion!
