Black Friday Deals 2019: What to expect?

News Tech

Are you ready? It’s finally the month for Black Friday UK deals in 2019, and the November 29 sales event is in sight. This year, Black Friday falls on Friday 29 November but – as with every year now – many of the best Black Friday deals have already started to appear.
Laptops, games consoles and clothes are all sold at a fraction of the price – perfect timing for early Christmas shopping.

When is the Black Friday?

The ‘official’ date for Black Friday is November 29, followed by Cyber Monday on December 2, but Amazon has gone early: it’s announced an eight-day sales period from November 22, a week before the sales event itself.

Where to find the best deals?

This year, Amazon has confirmed Black Friday will be its ‘biggest ever’, and as on Amazon Prime Day, Amazon Prime members will get early access to a selection of Lightning Deals, so if you’re after some exclusive deals, such as some amazing offers on Macbooks, then it’s worth becoming a Prime member during this time (you can sign up for a free 30-day trial, don’t thank us for the hack!)

Our second advice would be: sign up to email updates from retailers, download their apps and follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. That way, you’ll get notifications that keep you in the loop. (They often release early deals, and vouchers via newsletters)

What are the best deals this year?

We can definitely expect some of the best Amazon Black Friday 2019 deals to be on Amazon devices and services. That means savings on Echo speakers and screens, Fire TV Sticks and Fire TabletsKindle e-readers, and discounts on services like Kindle UnlimitedAmazon MusicAmazon Video and Audible. We can also expect savings on Ring Video Door Bells and Blink Home Security Camera Systems as Amazon owns Ring and Blink.

Some retailers have started posting a few deals, to get you ready for Black Friday (or to get your money early, before there’s much competition). We’ll collect them here, for you to decide if it’s worth spending your cash now.

At the moment, the only strong contender is Argos, so these are the only deals we’ve listed. But as Black Friday gets nearer, the other retailers will likely post their own competitive offerings.
