A printer that will save you money
Even the ET-7750 is pretty expensive initially, you definitely get your money back on the number of prints you can make without changing the inks.
With the printer, you will get ‘enough ink in the box to print for up to 2 years’. When you unpack it you’ll find two bottles of each of the five inks. The Black ink comes in a bottle with roughly twice the capacity of the other four bottles because it is used primarily for document printing.
With all these inks you can print up to 3,400 photos and ink-efficient duplex printing, it’s easy to see how this will pay off over time.
The ET-7750 is a multi-format printer showcasing many essential features such as copy, scan, and print. These are also completed by a cartridge-free printing, an automatic duplex, a high-quality scanner, an A3 printing amongst others…
An intuitive and contemporary design
When first unpacked the ET-7750 has an overall weight of 10.5 k. It is light enough for one person to lift onto a desk and small enough to fit on most desktops.
The tilting control panel is solid, securely-mounted, and adjustable through 90 degrees. While The colour LCD panel and button controls are really intuitive and logically configured.
You will also find two paper trays and one printable CD/DVD tray. It is worth noting that it cannot print A3 glossy photos, but more for meant for colour tabloids, posters, infographics etc…
You can connect pretty much all your devices to the printer. In the front, there is an SD card and USB slot, with one more USB slot at the back. You can also work over wi-fi or through various mobile apps.
A premium printer featuring an outstanding performance
The ET-7750 showcases an outstanding printing rapidity which can turn out black text at nearly 15 pages per minute (ppm)!
The four dyes are applied evenly and quickly to produce vivid colour documents on up to A3 sized paper in moments. But the Epson EcoTank ET-7750 is most impressive when turning out photos onto glossy photo paper at their highest quality. The amount of detail on show is remarkable and the advantage of using a separate photo black pigment in addition to the black dye is apparent in every shot.
About the scanner, it was also pretty impressive: the scans were sharp, with accurate colours and detailing: the ET-7750 could distinguish every shade on our Q60 target. Tested over wired Ethernet, speeds ranged from 10 seconds for a preview, to 47 seconds to capture a 6x4in photo at 1,200dpi.
The only black point would be the price of $649.99/£699.99. Indeed it is an expensive printer BUT you get your investment back if you print quite often.
